Welcome to the 6th annual

BUFFALO BILL'S ROUNDUP

MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT HOMEPAGE

A TRIBUTE TO WILLIAM FRANCIS KELLY

Bill's story

Please join us for the 6th Annual Buffalo Bill's Roundup Memorial Golf Tournament in Denver, Colorado!

Buffalo Bill's Roundup was created in honor of William Francis Kelly, who tragically passed away on November 6, 2020, following a fentanyl poisoning and overdose. More than a golf tournament, this event is a celebration of Will's life, a chance to keep his adventurous spirit alive, share the memories that made him so special, and come together to support a cause that can help save lives. Each year, we proudly raise funds for a charitable organization in his memory, ensuring that his legacy continues to make a meaningful impact.

Since 2020, fentanyl has devastated families and communities across the United States. According to the CDC, fentanyl and other synthetic opioids were involved in the deaths of more than 340,000 Americans between 2020 and 2025. Although recent years have shown encouraging signs of progress, fentanyl remains the leading driver of overdose deaths in our country, leaving countless families to face unimaginable loss. This tournament is held in loving memory of Katie's brother, Will, whose life was taken far too soon. Through this event, we honor his memory while supporting efforts to prevent future overdose deaths and provide hope, compassion, education, and lifesaving resources to individuals and families affected by this ongoing crisis.

Proceeds from the 2026 tournament will benefit the National Harm Reduction Coalition (NHRC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and dignity of people impacted by drug use through evidence-based harm reduction strategies. For more than 25 years, the NHRC has partnered with communities across the country to develop and expand programs that reduce overdose deaths, prevent the spread of HIV and hepatitis C, and connect people with critical resources and support. This year's donations will support the organization's Overdose Prevention Program, which expands access to naloxone, increases fentanyl test strip distribution, and provides education that empowers communities to prevent overdose deaths. We are honored to support an organization whose work is helping save lives every day.

Will lived with love and deep empathy, and he believed in helping others. He would want to leave a legacy of change and leverage knowledge to better people's lives. He was truly happiest when spending time with his friends and family, or enjoying the simple things like a round of golf or watching NFL football. He would be proud of how we've decided to honor his life, and he would be so enthusiastic about driving impactful change in the lives of others. Thank you for your commitment to Will's memory.
